I live less than a mile from the house. My dog brought a bone to my house and it is a femeral head of a male hip bone. I don’t know who to call locally.
I would call your local police. You can’t assume the victim is one of his because the police excavated for remains. The bone may have been overlooked until now, but you never know.
Let me get this straight..you are intelligent enough to identify the exact type of bone right to it not only being a femoral head “male” hip bone…but you are unable to figure out who to call??? Dont be idiotic!!
Just for the record the hip is a joint and a series of bones. The femoral head is just that a femoral head. The joint is refered to as the acetabulum and the head of the femur fits in that particular joint. And unless you are a pathologist I doubt you could identify a portion of bone with any certainty as to what is origin was. So to put is simple, this seems made up!
